Tony Bowall FRPS

I have now retired from commerial photography work and have kept this site running as an historic archive. I used to be well known for my images of Brighton & Hove in Sussex, where I still live.

I specialised in property photography, gig/concert photography, and I was well known for my images of the Greek Islands, flower work and minimalism. Self-taught, having originally trained in the 1980s in darkrooms in London's East End, I hold the Fellowship of the Royal Photographic Society - the Society's Highest Distinction.

I still have shows of my work on display in Brighton and Hove and my images have been commissioned for use by The Charter Medical Centre in Hove, The Montefiore Hospital in Hove, Somerhill Dental Practice in Hove, Brighton Hilton Metropole Hotel, Brighton & Hove City Council, Brighton & Hove Chamber of Commerce, Hove Business Association, Hove Civic Society, The Hove Plinth Project, and many more!

For many years photographs were selected for exhibition at the prestigious London Salon of Photography where I was awarded two Salon Medals for images of Brighton & Hove. My work has been shown Internationally. I have now retired from retail and commercial photography work and no longer sell any of my images anywhere - following more than 25 years of trading adventures. My shopfronts with Saatchi.com and Artfinder are no longer trading.

I now use my time to work on personal photographic projects and my other passions.
